Jeffrey Douma is a Professor of Conducting at the Yale School of Music, where he teaches in the graduate choral program,
as founding Director of the
Yale Choral Artists, and as Artistic Director of the Yale International Choral Festival.
Professor Douma has appeared as guest conductor with choruses and orchestras on six continents
In 2018 Professor Douma and the Yale International Choral Festival organisers invited the Muslim Choral Ensemble-Sri Lanka
to participate in the festival.

Aritha has spearheaded a number of initiatives and pro bono projects promoting diversity, equality, and human rights globally.
Soundarie David Rodrigo is a pianist, accompanist, music director and music educationalist from Sri Lanka.
Soundarie is the Founder and Music Director of Sri Lanka’s premiere female ensemble ‘Soul Sounds,’ the first choir in Sri Lanka to
perform and win awards internationally. Over the last ten years Soul Sounds has given highly acclaimed performances in India, Australia,
China, Kuwait, Austria, France, USA, Malaysia and South Africa.
Soundarie is also a qualified lawyer with a Masters in law, in the field of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law from the
University of California, Berkeley having been the recipient of the Rotary World Peace Scholarship.

Hussain is a B-787 Captain and Instructor with Qatar Airways for the past nine years.
He is the son of Muslim Choral Ensemble - Sri Lanka’s founder, Haadia Galely, and has been a keen supporter and a benifactor of
the choir since its inception in 2017.
